I received an email asking me to give my opinion and review to receive my one year cloud storage purchase price back. I gave this application 5 stare because it does what it said what it does, and i have had no issues with it. In an enterprise enviorment, receiving emails would become too monotonous to a user ( there are plenty of 2-factor auth apps out there to use ). While the 2-factor auth is presented very well. With that being said, I'm not convinced that I would use this software in my enterprise enviorment. I find IDrive's ( Somewhat ) 2-factor authentication inline with corporate security ( I do this for a living ). Some may find the security a "Little much," but in a world of ransomeware, phishing expeditions, and straight up thieves. The price point is second to none, reliable, network speeds are solid, and security is top notch. If you're looking for something that will backup and secure your household data.IDrive is your application to do it with. There has to be some kind of rule that we can stop these unscrupulous companies charging autorenewal without your consent I have also put my comment's on the FTC website where they are asking for comments from the public for cloud companies ![]() It took me at least 10 tries to be able to successfully cancel my account online. I sat and wasted again 20 min on phone for this same thing and was told they will request a prorated refund for 2023-24(was again renewed on march 3.2022 they have already charged without my knowledge). I tried again to cancel this year and sent an e mail to their support ,they asked me to provide the last 4 numbers of credit card I had used ,i did provide that but later on found out that they were using my old credit card number and they refused to cancel. Nothing like this happened and I just found out that I did get charged. I tried cancelling my account last year and couldnt, then chatted with an agents and also called and I was assured that my account will be cancelled and I will not be charged for upcoming 2022-23 period. This particular company has a difficult onsite page for a consumer to cancel their subscription. I want to bring my experience with this cloud storage company IDRIVE.Com based out of california. ![]()
